The Problem Gigstack Faced

Gigstack’s onboarding process relied heavily on manual calls, which became unsustainable after they were integrated as the first app in Latin America on the Stripe marketplace.

With a surge in new users, their team struggled to keep up with the volume of onboarding calls while maintaining a smooth user experience.

To solve this, we shifted their onboarding to a product-led Onboarding approach. By setting up a data-driven system, we quickly identified two major drop-off points in their onboarding flow that were holding users back.

Using behavioral design principles, we reworked the entire process — removing friction, simplifying steps, and making the journey much more intuitive for users to follow.

The Results

The onboarding completion rate increased by 468%, as users now had a clear and intuitive path to activation.

Additionally, free-to-paid conversions improved to 75%, contributing to an overall conversion rate of 87,5%.

Not only did these improvements drive growth, but they also significantly reduced Gigstack’s dependency on manual onboarding calls — freeing up their team’s time to focus on scaling the business further.
